Background & Experience

Greene Environmental Services, in cooperation with Ham Farms, Inc. of Snow Hill, North Carolina is a partnership formed in 2002 for the purpose of designing, developing, and constructing riparian buffer restorations, nutrient offset and other similar projects in the lower Neuse River and Tar-Pamlico Watersheds.  GES’s single office is located in Snow Hill, North Carolina.  Company principals are long-standing members of the local community with extensive farming, business, and state government work experiences.  GES’s strong, on-going connection with eastern North Carolina’s Greene, Pitt, Wilson, Lenoir, Wayne, Edgecombe, and Craven Counties provides a unique perspective into land use and water quality issues in the lower Neuse and Tar-Pamlico river basins.  GES also facilitates cooperation with area farmers and landowners who are instrumental in successfully achieving practical and lasting solutions to water quality and other environmental problems.
